The Wilmington Trade Center is a major business park development in Wilmington, North Carolina, designed to support a mix of industrial and commercial tenants. Phase 2 of the project covers roughly 125 acres and will accommodate buildings 4 through 8 and 11 through 13, with individual structures ranging from 84,000 square feet to over 1 million square feet. Funston Company was selected to lead sitework, including underground infrastructure for this next phase.

Alcrete supplied a series of large custom precast boxes and storm structures, built to handle oversized pipe and the demands of a high-volume site.

The project’s proximity to the Cape Fear River added complexity, requiring structure installation to be carefully timed with the local tide schedule—a challenge that demanded tight coordination and responsive delivery. Alcrete’s production team met the moment, keeping pace with installation windows and delivering with consistency.
